Golden Valley teammates Kylee Davis and Meagan Humphries took the top two spots in the high jump and long jump at the CIF-Southern Section Division 2 finals at Moorpark High. Davis cleared 5-8 (1.72m) in the high jump, produced a leap of 19-11.50 (6.08m) in the long jump, contributed to a 4x100 victory in 46.41, and ran a wind-aided 12.14 in the 100-meter dash to finish fourth. Humphries cleared 5-6 (1.67m) in the high jump, achieved a mark of 18-9.25 (5.72m) in the long jump, ran 24.42 in the 200 to take third, and contributed to an eighth-place effort in the 4x400 in 4:06.17.
